Launch day 2

Launch day 2: parachute, fins, cone

  1. I think that the fins were unnecessary because they only steered your rocket STRAIGHT LEFT. If the fins are not postitioned perfectly it will steer the energy unfavorably as it did in this video. Because your rocket was steered incorrectly, it prevented the rocket from achieving its ultimate height where it would peak and allow the cone to fall off and the parachute to deploy. Because your rocket went side ways, the pressure from the air hitting your cone most likely pushed the cone onto the rocket till it stuck and did not fall off making the parachute not deploy and your rocket crash with out a time over 5 seconds. Take off the wings because they are steering your rocket incorrectly and weighing it down OR position it perfectly which I do not recommend because it is difficult
